RPRP AI is a roleplay chatbot app with great tools for creating custom characters, including their first message, avatar, and backstory. If you’re new to this, there’s even an AI tool to help you get started.

Memory varies—some characters handle 60+ messages, while others repeat after 10. On average, memory lasts 25 messages, so stick with the Trending characters for the best results.

Responses take 3-5 seconds, sometimes up to 7 during busy times. It’s slower than other apps but works well for detailed, thoughtful roleplay.

The image generator stands out with realistic, anime, and furry styles, and is highly accurate. Voice messages, however, are limited to one (Asian) accent, which can feel restrictive.

At $9.99/month, RPRP AI is affordable and ideal for creative roleplay fans who want custom options and reliable features.

RPRP AI has 4k memory which is above average (3.5k). It has better memory then other AI roleplay platforms we’ve reviewed such as FantasyGF AI and Candy AI but it’s still not as good as GirlfriendGPT which has 8k memory.

RPRP AI is a newer platform, so its memory can be hit or miss. Some characters we talked to kept the chat going for over 60 messages, while others started repeating after just 10.

Out of 76 characters we tested, the average memory limit was about 25 messages, which isn’t great. To avoid this, we recommend chatting with the popular characters under the Trending tab. These are usually well-made and can hold a good conversation for at least 50 messages. It’s a simple way to get the most out of the platform!

RPRP AI also has chat profile cards, or as they like to call it: Memory Chips.

You can add your hobbies, traits, or any other details here to make sure your AI character remembers them throughout the entire roleplay. It’s a good idea to set this up from the start, especially if the AI character has a memory limit of fewer than 30 messages.

RPRP AI takes about 5 seconds to respond, which is slower than most AI roleplay chatbots that average 1-3 seconds. However, this is usually just the first message—after that, responses are closer to 3-4 seconds.

When the servers are busy, response times can increase to 5-7 seconds, which might feel a bit slow for rapid back-and-forth chats. That said, it’s still great for longer roleplays with detailed messages, where you have more time to think about your next response.

RPRP AI has a fantastic customization section that lets you design every aspect of your AI character, including their first message, avatar, background story, and more. If you’re unsure how to start, there’s even an AI tool to help you prompt your character.

However, you can’t customize characters that you didn’t create. So, if you find a character you like but aren’t happy with their responses, your only options are to stick with it or choose a different character. This can feel limiting if you want to adjust an existing character to better suit your preferences.

We’ve interviewed the founder and CEO of RPRP AI and asked him how RPRP AI shows up in the bank.

Here’s his official response:

We currently offer three payment methods: PayPal, which will show a payment to our company InnoSaaS rather than RPRP AI; Stripe, which may show as RPRP Premium; and Patreon, which may show as a payment to Patreon. Since the billing content is handled by the payment provider, we cannot control this.

According to RPRP AI’s CEO, the platform does not monitor your chats. The only monitoring they do is for image generation to ensure the servers run smoothly, but they don’t review or track the content you create. This ensures your roleplays and generated content remain private.

We only monitor the usage of AI chat and image generation to ensure the server operates without issues; we do not monitor the content of users’ chats, as this holds no relevance for us. However, we use AI to detect any prompts for generating CP-related content, and we are currently compiling a blacklist of such prompts to block any CP materials.

To put it short,: RPRP AI is safe to use.

Even though RPRP AI has only been released a few months ago, the platform has a couple of really good bonus features.

• External Image Generator
• Voice Messages

The image generator on RPRP AI is one of the best we’ve reviewed for anime-style images. They recently launched a dedicated furry generator, which we found to be surprisingly accurate. In our tests of 70 images across the three styles (realistic, anime, and furry), only 2 had noticeable issues, making it highly reliable.

On the other hand, the voice messages were disappointing. There’s only one accent available (Asian), which feels limiting, especially when chatting with characters from Western backgrounds. This feature could use more variety to match the diverse character library.
