Backstory evaluates how much thought has gone into the character’s history, motivations, and personality. It checks if the character feels realistic and unique, with a story that matches their traits and roleplay description.
Backstory consists of two equally important subratings:
- Character Depth (7.5%): How much detail is provided about the character’s history, motivations, and goals.
- Profile Match (7.5%): Ensuring the profile picture and description align with the character’s roleplay and personality.

The Ring was the first RPG character I ever roleplayed with, and it’s still one of my favorites. What makes it stand out is its versatility. You can choose to be a hero and create a paradise filled with whatever you desire—like beautiful women devoted to you—or take a darker path and reshape your world completely. You can even include details from your real life and roleplay how you upgrade it, making the experience feel personal and unique. The possibilities with The Ring are truly endless.
