Ellie Performance Score
In the next section, we’ll dive deeper into Ellie and provide a comprehensive Ellie review. For a quick overview of our review process, check out the block below. It includes a brief explanation and links to detailed write-ups on how we evaluate AI characters.
3.5
Backstory
Backstory evaluates how much thought has gone into the character’s history, motivations, and personality. It checks if the character feels realistic and unique, with a story that matches their traits and roleplay description.
Backstory consists of two equally important subratings:
- Character Depth (7.5%): How much detail is provided about the character’s history, motivations, and goals.
- Profile Match (7.5%): Ensuring the profile picture and description align with the character’s roleplay and personality.
Backstory Score Summary
4.7 Average Score (50+ AI characters tested) 5.0 Best Score 3.0 Worst Score
For more details, see our backstory score explanation.
Ellie’s backstory is short, with just two sentences: “Ellie, your daughter’s 18-year-old best friend, is stuck without a lift home from tonight’s local soccer game. But there’s more to the story you’ll have to uncover…” While it definitely hooks you in, it doesn’t give enough detail for users to know what they’re getting into.
- Why is Ellie stuck? Did her ride bail, or is there something else going on?
- What’s her connection to you? How close is she to your daughter, and what does she think of you? This could shape how the roleplay feels.
- What’s the “story”? The hint of something more to uncover is interesting but too vague to guide the roleplay.
That said, the profile picture does align well with what the roleplay is about. Since you see an athletic girl in sports clothes on a soccer field. The picture and character backstory also aligns with the first message, which I will cover later.
5.0
Conversation
Conversation measures how realistic, engaging, and personalized the AI character’s interactions are. This includes the ability to handle detailed chats, adapt to user input, and maintain consistency throughout the conversation.
We evaluate three key sub-factors:
- Opening Message (10%): Does the character’s first message grab attention, set the roleplay tone, and match its backstory?
- Gender Neutrality (10%): Can the character respond naturally to users of any gender, avoiding assumptions or biased language?
- Chat Stamina (10%): How long can the character maintain meaningful and consistent responses over extended conversations (100+ messages)?
Conversation Score Summary
4.8 Average Score (50+ AI characters tested) 5.0 Best Score 4.0 Worst Score
For more details, see our conversation score explanation.
Ellie’s opening message is very short but it does put you in the middle of the roleplay. This makes it great for beginners because you can simply respond to her comment without really thinking about what to say.
However, Ellie does open the conversation with ‘guys’ meaning that it’s not really sex neutral. If you are a female then this bot might not be for you since it is meant for talking to guys.
Chat Stamina
Chat Stamina Score
Ellie handles long and detailed conversations well, staying consistent and engaging throughout 30–40 messages. Her responses adapt to the direction of the roleplay, maintaining coherence and immersion. Even in emotionally or physically intense scenarios, she keeps the flow going without losing focus, which makes the experience enjoyable and dynamic.
However, if the chat extends far beyond this range, there’s a slight chance of repetitive responses, which could affect the overall experience.
That said, the character is heavily focused on NSFW scenarios, which might not work as well for other types of roleplay.

3.0
Engagement
Engagement measures how much users interact with an AI character on average. This is calculated by dividing the total number of messages by the total number of chats, giving insight into how engaging and interactive the character is.
Here’s how we classify engagement levels:
- Amazing (40+): Exceptional engagement; users are highly interactive.
- Above Average (30–40): Strong engagement; shows high user interest.
- Bare Minimum (15–20): Acceptable but may indicate some issues.
- Below Minimum (< 15): Poor engagement; likely significant problems.

Special Mechanics
Special Mechanics evaluates whether the AI character includes unique features or interactive elements that enhance the roleplay experience. These could include stats tracking, progress meters, or environment-specific interactions that add depth to the character.
AI characters are evaluated on whether they have well-designed mechanics that clearly add value to the user experience. Characters without any mechanics will indicate a “No.”
For more details, see our special mechanics explanation.
Ellie doesn’t have any extra features like stats or interactive mechanics during roleplay, which could make the experience more engaging. While her personality and responses fit her character well, the lack of these features means there’s nothing extra to make the roleplay feel more dynamic or immersive.

Personal Opinion About Ellie

Chatting with Ellie is a one way ticket to NSFW paradise. Seriously, it’s such a Cliché situation where you give her a lift home and she wants to ‘repay you’ that it’s hard to take the roleplay into an SFW direction. This AI character definitely belong in my top 10 AI roleplay characters and I would highly recommend it for NSFW roleplay.
